The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers 20th Anniversary – The Tales That Really Mattered
All stamps in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 20th Anniversary were based on original artworks by Sacha Lees. Three of these paintings have been issued as limited-edition art prints. These hand-signed prints include a canceled stamp and are marked with their limited-edition number. A great gift for any The Lord of the Rings fan, only 250 of each print have been produced.
The captive Frodo, Sam and Gollum have been brought to the abandoned city Osgiliath, which is now under seige. Hypnotised by the power of the One Ring, Frodo offers it up to a looming Nazgul. Sam heroically rescues his despondent master and reminds him that there’s good in Middle-earth, “…and it’s worth fighting for”.
