Following a successful global IMAX release in January & February 2024, Mercury Studios is excited to announce the 4K and Blu-ray release of Queen “Rock Montreal + Live Aid”.
This is the first time “Queen Rock Montreal” is available in 4K and is accompanied with a Dolby Atmos mix for the first time. Also included in the package is their 1985 Live Aid performance, regularly polled as the greatest live performance of all time, upscaled to HD and presented in Dolby Atmos audio for the first time.
Both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray packages contain two discs: Disc one features “Rock Montreal” in full frame and the Live Aid performance. Disc two features “Rock Montreal” in widescreen and also includes a bonus 11-minute Live Aid rehearsal feature with interviews from the period leading into Live Aid, along with rehearsal footage.
The 4K package features “Rock Montreal” in both SDR and HDR formats on both discs, to optimize the viewing experience.
